Private Inca Trail 5 days
During the time of the Incas the population built a highly advanced network of nearly 40,000 thousand kilometers of trails to connect the distant corners of their vast empire. Cusco was the heart of this great empire. Almost all of the principal trails in the mountains surrounding Cusco were built or improved by the Incas. This beautiful 43km section of mountain trail connects the important Inca archaeological sites of Runcuracay, Sayacmarca, Phuyupatamarca, Wiñay Wayna and Machu Picchu has become popular with hikers in the last 30 years and has become known as the "Inca Trail to Machu Picchu".
You will be able to see the most important Inca Archeological Sites (Runcuracay, Sayacmarca, Phuyupatamarca, Wiñay Wayna) and have enough time to take pictures and enjoy the view. You will experience the real trail the Inca’s made during their time.
Machu Picchu is the most famous archeological site because it is one of the seven modern world wonders and you will be able to walk this site two times to enjoy every place there is to see.
Day by Day:
Day 1 : Cusco – Huallyabamba
We leave Cusco towards the place called Km 82. Here we will start the trek. We camp in the village of Huallyabamba.
Day 2 : Huallyabamba – Pacaymayo
We start our walk towards our second camp in Pacaymayo. During the walk we will feel a climate change.

Day 3 : Pacaymayo - Phutupatamarca
During our third you will see the archeological sites called Runcuracay and Phutupatamarca where we will set our camp.

Day 4 : Phutupatamarca - Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu
We start our walk by walking through the complex of Wiñay Huayna. Then you will encounter the Intipuncu (Sun Gate) of Machu Picchu where you will have a short break. Then you will visit Machu Picchu together with our tourguide. You will rest in a hotel in Aguas Calientes.

Day 5 : Machu Picchu – Cusco City
On the fifth day you are able the choose between Machu Pichhu Mountain or Waynapicchu. Because we start the early, there will not be a lot of people and you can visit the site in peace. After the visit we take the train and bus back to Cusco.
