 Day 1: Transfer Airport – Lima Hotel
Transfer to your hotel in Lima, free day. |
Day 2: Cusco – City Tour
Morning flight and we will pick you up at the airport to your hotel; you will have free time in the morning, and a rest to help you acclimatize to the altitude (3,360mt-11,022ft).
At 2:00 pm we will visit the Cathedral, the Koricancha temple, and the archeological remains like Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo and Pucapucará.
Return at the hotel at 6:30pm approximately.

Day 3: Sacred Valley
After breakfast we will drive through the Sacred Valley to the archeological site of Pisaq, demonstration of traditional Andean weaving and visit the market of Pisaq.
We spend the night in Urubamba village. |
Day 4: Maras (salt mines)
Today we will visit the colonial church of Chinchero and Ollantaytambo remains and the salt mines works of Maras.
We will spend the night in Ollantaytambo village in a comfortable hotel. |
Day 5: Machupicchu
After an early breakfast we pick you up from your hotel, we will go at the train station. In this point we take the train until Machu Picchu - “Old Peak”. The three hour journey takes us through the spectacular scenery of the Sacred Valley closely following the Urubamba River to Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. You have to take the bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu. We will be 2 hours with the tour guide. Then we have the opportunity to climb Wayna Picchu or walk to Inti Punku - the Gate of the Sun.
After you have to take the return bus to Aguas Calientes for take the train, to coming back to Cusco.
If you would like to spend an extra day in Machu Picchu for a second non-guided visit we can arrange a hotel in Aguas Calientes and transfers from the station in Cusco back to your hotel. Please notify us of your requirements three (3) weeks in advance. |
Day 6: Free
Free day in Cusco, you can visit museums, markets |
Day 7: Cusco - Lima
Morning transfer and flight to Lima. Airport reception, city tour and a visit to the famous gold museum. |
