Day 1: City Tour (half day)

We will pick you up at the airport to your hotel; you will have free time in the morning, and a rest to help you acclimatize to the altitude (3,360mt-11,022ft).
At 2:00 pm we will visit the Cathedral, the Koricancha temple, and the archeological remains like Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo and Pucapucará.

Return at the hotel at 6:30pm approximately.



Day 2: Sacred Valley (Full day)

We pick you up from your hotel, drive through the Sacred Valley to the archeological sites:

Pisaq: Demonstration of traditional Andean weaving and visit to the archaeological site and market.

Chinchero: The main attraction is the colonial church with beautiful old paintings both inside and out. It's set on one side of a square which like the church itself is built on Inca foundations.

Ollantaytambo: Is a town and an Inca archaeological site in southern Peru some 60 kilometers northwest of the city of Cusco. It is located at an altitude of 2,792 meters above sea level in the district of Ollantaytambo, province of Urubamba, Cusco region. During the Inca Empire, Ollantaytambo was the royal estate of Emperor Pachacuti who conquered the region, built the town and a ceremonial center. At the time of the Spanish conquest of Peru it served as a stronghold for Manco Inca Yupanqui, leader of the Inca resistance. Nowadays it is an important tourist attraction on account of its Inca buildings and as one of the most common starting points for the three-day, four-night hike known as the Inca Trail. Enjoy a lunch of traditional Andean fare.

Return to Cusco city at 7:00pm approximately.



Day 3: Machupicchu (Full day)

After an early breakfast we pick you up from your hotel, you will go at the Poroy train station by bus. In this point we take the train until Machu Picchu - “Old Peak”. The three hour journey takes us through the spectacular scenery of the Sacred Valley closely following the Urubamba River to Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. You have to take the bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu. We will be 2 hours with the tour guide. Then we have the opportunity to climb Wayna Picchu or walk to Inti Punku - the Gate of the Sun.
After you have to take the return bus to Aguas Calientes for take the train, to coming back to Cusco.

Note: If you would like to spend an extra day in Machu Picchu for a second non-guided visit we can arrange this for you. Please notify us of your requirements three (3) weeks in advance.



Day 4: Cusco – Lima
Transfer to the airport for a local flight home.
