It's our final day today in Quito and I can hardly tell you how much fun we've had. Thank you! Must say that Ecuador Adventure run one.

One of the most complete programs offered in Manu National Park, our Manu Nature Paradise adventure takes you to many of Peru’s jewels. You will begin by visiting highlands and valleys on your way to the colonial town of Paucartambo, then continue to the cloud forest where you will see Peru’s national bird, the cock-of-the-rock, in its daily ritual.

 Day 1: City Tour (half day)
We will pick you up at the airport to your hotel; you will have free time in the morning, and a rest to help you acclimatize to the altitude (3,360mt-11,022ft).
At 2:00 pm we will visit the Cathedral, the Koricancha temple, and the archeological remains like Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo and Pucapucará.
Return at the hotel at 6:30pm approximately.

Day 2: Machupicchu (Full day)
After an early breakfast we pick you up from your hotel, you will go at the Poroy train station by bus. In this point we take the train until Machu Picchu - “Old Peak”. The three hour journey takes us through the spectacular scenery of the Sacred Valley closely following the Urubamba River to Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. You have to take the bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu. We will be 2 hours with the tour guide. Then we have the opportunity to climb Wayna Picchu or walk to Inti Punku - the Gate of the Sun.
After you have to take the return bus to Aguas Calientes for take the train, to coming back to Cusco.
Note: If you would like to spend an extra day in Machu Picchu for a second non-guided visit we can arrange this for you. Please notify us of your requirements three (3) weeks in advance. |
Day 3:
Transfer to the airport for a local flight home.
