We will pick you up from your hotel, we will visit:

The Cathedral, containing unrivalled examples of art and sculptures dating from the colonial period are the first stop on our City Tour. We continue to Koricancha, Temple of the Sun or “Court of Gold” in Quechua. At the height of the Inca Empire the religious and political power was based here.

Watching over Cusco from high above the city is Sacsayhuamán - “Speckled Falcon” in Quechua. Here you will see enormous stones structures which have defied the ravages of time and earthquakes for hundreds of years and which are the focus of the Inti Raymi festival each June – one of the most important festivals in Perú.

A little further from Cusco are the ruins of Qenqo“Zig Zag”, Puca Pucara “Red Fort” and Tambomachay “Cavern Lodge”, used by the Incas to harness the waters of a natural spring.

Return at the hotel at 6:30pm approximately.
