Juan Barrios

Juan is native of Cusco, Perú.

He studied Tourism at Cusco University, and is particularly interested in the technology and science used by the Incas in their development. He also studied the Quechua language in order to better understand Andean culture, and communicates with native people. A lover of adventure trips Juan has been a rafting and climbing guide for many years. He is open mind and good sense of humor lend to his enthusiasm in meeting new people and sharing with them his enigmatic country.

Miguel Angel Alata Jara

Miguel Angel Alata Jara was born and raised in Cusco; a city he loves for its history and tranquillity. His love for his hometown and country is one of the reason why he enjoys his job as a guide so much, as well as the opportunity to learn about other cultures and meeting people from around the world. As an outgoing and talkative person, guiding was a natural fit. Another aspect Miguel loves about his job is the constant opportunity to be in touch nature; and teaching others about native flora and fauna.

In his free time Miguel enjoys spending time with his friends and family, appreciating the little things that make life in Cusco great, and learning more about Peru's rich history.
