Titicaca Lake 4 days
This 4-day trip will take you to Lake Titicaca. Lake Titicaca is a mountain lake, with an elevation of 3,812 meters (12,507ft) on the border of Peru and Bolivia.
When going on this trip, you will see Lake Titicaca and its islands. Furthermore, you will have some optional programs to choose from.

Day 1 Arrival and Acclimation
You will be welcomed at Juliaca Airport by our representative and driven to the lodge. At the lodge we will check-in, have lunch and we will have some time to rest. In the afternoon you will have the possibility to do activities near the lodge.
Day 2 Nautical day
In the morning, your guides will take you by car and boat to visit the famed Uros floating islands, near the Titicaca National Reserve. Later you will explore the Quechua beliefs and culture through the rich weaving tradition on the island of Taquile. As the island enjoys a privileged microclimate, you´ll likely see men weaving wonderful pieces outdoors. After this you will enjoy a picnic against the stunning backdrop of Titicaca´s deep blue skies, the lake´s sapphire waters, and on the horizon, Bolivia´s Royal Mountain Range.
Day 3 Land day
Today we will go for the Aymara Route Excursion, it is worth a full day´s exploration, with its landscapes, wildlife, villages and privileged views of Chucuito peninsula and community of Ácora. You will travel back to the pre-Inca times and learn about Titicaca´s central role in the Andean way of life. By car, bicycle, or foot, set your own pace through curving country paths as they cross open farmland.
Day 4 Departure
After breakfast, and depending on the timing of your departure, you may enjoy a short excursion, an en route excursion, or one of a range of activities near the lodge.
The en route excursion involves a visit to the mysterious, ancient site of Sillustani, home to the area´s best preserved chullpas, or funerary towers.

Islands of Lake Titicaca:
Explore the floating Uros islands along with the Island of Taquile, on this full-day trip.
The Aymara route excursion, spanning a whole day, will take you through the spectacular natural landscapes and vibrant communities of the Chucuito peninsula and the district of Acora.
Excursion to Sillustani:
One of the region´s largest and most important pre-Hispanic archeological sites, Sillustani features Inca and pre-Inca funerary towers, or ´chullpas´, overlooking Lake Umayo.
Colla Route Trek:
The Colla Route, part of the original network of Inca roadways, is offering you the perfect opportunity to hike all or part of this ancient trail.
Market Place Visit:
At the weekend, local villagers continue the ancestral tradition of gathering at markets where they frequently still barter for goods rather than use money.
